Youth basketball leagues announce merger.
The Rookie Basketball Association once was for grades 1-4 and DAYBA youth programs for grades 3-6. For the past seven years the Rookie Basketball Association has served kindergarten through fourth grade, and DAYBA has served grades five through eight. On March 11, 2019 they announced the Rookie Basketball Association-Duluth Salvation Army and DAYBA’s Youth Basketball program have merged under the direction of Kris Mallett of the Rookie Basketball Association.
